The TYFR series PTC heating components are electric heating devices that feature a positive temperature coefficient ceramic heating chip as their core component. Thanks to their unique physical properties, these components offer advantages such as high efficiency, safety, and energy savings. They are widely used in numerous devices that require a stable heat source, including fan heaters, air conditioners, and automotive thermal management systems.
Key Features and Advantages
• High safety: Equipped with self-limiting temperature features that fundamentally prevent overheating; typically also incorporates multiple protection mechanisms, such as overheat protectors, tilt switches, and air vent blockage limiters, further enhancing usage safety.
• High efficiency and energy savings: Rapid thermal startup and high heat exchange efficiency; once the set temperature is reached, the power automatically decreases to maintain a constant temperature, making it more energy-efficient compared to heating methods that operate at full power continuously.
• Long lifespan and high reliability: PTC ceramic components are resistant to high temperatures and oxidation, with a long service life (up to over 6,000 hours). Their performance is minimally affected by fluctuations in supply voltage, ensuring stable operation.
• Flexible design: Power and form factor can be customized according to requirements, with a wide voltage compatibility range (suitable for voltages from 12V to 380V).
• Environmental adaptability: PTC components themselves often have waterproof properties. Combined with the device’s overall waterproof design, certain components can be used in humid environments such as bathrooms (though you’ll need to select dedicated models explicitly labeled with a waterproof rating of IPX4 or higher).
• Comfortable to use: No red-hot phenomenon during operation, no light emission, no electromagnetic radiation, and gentle airflow.
