The CNTS series negative temperature coefficient thermistors feature stable performance, high sensitivity, fast response speed, excellent insulation and sealing properties, as well as strong resistance to mechanical impacts and bending. They can be packaged according to the specific installation conditions, making them easy for users to install. These thermistors are primarily used for temperature measurement and control in household air conditioners, automotive air conditioners, refrigerators, freezers, water heaters, coffee makers, microwave ovens, electric ovens, water dispensers, space heaters, dishwashers, sterilization cabinets, washing machines, dryers, soybean milk makers, and other similar appliances.
Key Features and Advantages
• High temperature measurement accuracy, cheaper than conventional thermocouples and platinum resistance thermometers, with sufficient accuracy for most applications.
• The sensitivity is significantly higher than that of PTC and platinum resistance thermometers, with particularly pronounced changes in the low-temperature range, making it ideal for appliance, battery, and motor protection applications.
• Extremely compact in size, with flexible installation options that allow it to fit into tight spaces—such as battery packs, motor windings, pipe interiors, and radiators.
• The circuit is simple and extremely low-cost, requiring no complex driver—just one resistor plus an ADC.
• Anti-interference and environmentally resistant, featuring waterproof capabilities, epoxy resin coating, and a metal casing that can withstand humid, oily, and high- and low-temperature environments.
